First solar panels installed

Bristol based signage and exhibition display company N3 Display Graphics are pushing back against the tide of ever-increasing energy costs. The business has installed solar to help power their 7000 square foot production facility.

The panels installed in January uses half of the roof space of N3’s factory in Warmley, Bristol. It’s anticipated that the power created will eventually supply half of the company’s requirements.

Nigel Peeck, Director of N3 Display Graphics said, “It’s an exciting time here at N3 Display Graphics as we move to become more sustainable as a business. Eco materials and ranges have been at the forefront of our minds for quite some time now and the introduction of solar is a big leap forward. We have an ambition to increase the number of electric vehicles the business uses too. We are looking forward to less large fuel bills for the business moving forward.”

N3’s Considerations of installing solar panels

Installing solar panels is an option for businesses of all sizes in any industry looking to reduce costs, generate additional income, reduce the risk of rising energy prices and minimise their carbon footprint.

The more energy you need to use in your operations, the more your business and the planet will benefit from installing solar panels. If you're considering installing solar panels on your commercial building, you've probably already imagined the many benefits.

Not only are solar panels good for our bottom line, but they're also good for the environment. By using renewable energy, you can reduce your carbon footprint and help protect the planet for future generations. Plus, going solar can help you build a positive reputation for your business, as customers increasingly look to do business with companies that prioritize sustainability.

When you add solar panels to your business, you'll be able to save money on your energy costs. Solar energy is free and doesn't produce any hazardous waste. With the money you save on energy costs, you can invest in other areas of your business. Adding solar panels to your business can be a great way to save money and grow your business.

The team are looking forward to seeing the pay back on the investment and the summer sun!

We’re excited to share our recent collaboration with Ovo Energy, where we transformed their Bristol headquarters with a sustainable brand refresh. This project blended bold design with eco-friendly materials to reflect Ovo’s commitment to the environment. Striking Exterior and Eco-Friendly Interiors The refresh begins at the entrance, where vibrant green vinyl gives the windows a fresh, bold look. The existing Ovo logo was re-coated in white, creating a welcoming focal point at the reception that reinforces their brand identity and environmental values. Inside, we incorporated printed plywood panels, locally sourced vinyl, and acrylics to create engaging, sustainable design elements throughout the office. Custom logos and lettering crafted from routed and painted plywood added a bespoke, high-quality finish.
